Sprint- Art Basel 2017

IMG_4300

A couple of weeks back I was invited to attend the Basel House Mural Festival sponsored by Sprint, thanks to the South Florida Bloggers. At the event, we met the man of the hour Ruben Ubiera, the artist who painted the beautiful yellow mural pictured. According to Ubiera, “Connections” is about celebrating freedom, community, and connections. I absolutely love how the yellow color pops out at you.

At the event, they had a screen printing station where they were making Sprint goodie bags for us. We were able to see the whole process, which was really cool!

There was also a graffiti station where we got to make our own graffiti. I didn’t join, but I watched from the sidelines.

Sprint gave us goodie bags full of cool swag. One of the items was this really neat phone grip made of recycled wood from Hurricane Irma. It says Florida Strong and I love that!

Hatch Miami

IMG_0634
Last month I attended Hatch Miami, an outdoor craft fair showcasing amazing talented women vendors. Everything from beautiful artwork, super cute handmade goodies, delicious food & drinks, performances, and other provisions. It was great seeing so many lady bosses in one place! I went almost crazy buying and taking lots of pictures of everything. I didn’t get a chance to go to every single vendor (why, I dunno? and I’m kicking myself for it), but next time Hatch Miami rolls into town, I’m definitely going to make it a goal to visit every single one.
So like I said, I took a million photos. Here are some of my favorites. If you like what you see, be sure to click on the links that’ll take you straight to the vendors!

Tall Kitty Pen is cute CUTE cute.
Would you believe me if I said I spent less than $12 at this vendor? Because I totally did. So cheap and so cute! I would have bought more but I needed to contain myself.

Chubby Unicorn is life! And this wooden necklace is perfection. The blue background detaches itself if you so choose, so you get 2 necklaces in 1!

Chubby Unicorn dressed as Eleven from Stranger Things. OMG.
